I have nothing against the “Oriental” dress of game 2 but I was always hoping she'd rip that thing off to fight in her “second form”. The dress is generic (as can be argued the distinctly WESTERN “ninja suit”) but the dress appears to be heavily influenced from China, which means Oopsies! Wrong culture again.

Still, Eternal Champions was one of those games that COULD'VE made it during the Street Fighter II / Mortal Kombat craze. It was shot in the foot then finally stabbed in the back by Japan SEGA vs American SEGA. A dick move when you think about it because EC did make money and had a fan base...and was not in direct competition with SEGA Japan's pet project and supposed reason for EC's cancellation: Virtua Fighter

Maybe the big wigs of SEGA a.k.a. the Japanese didn't like Shadow's manner of dress. After all... racial stereotyping or ignorance can incite offense, and you really DON'T want to offend your boss-
